My Voice Experience

I began using my voice as an on-air personality at a small market country format radio station. I didn't even like country music at the time! But I learned to tolerate it and have fun on air. I was in charge of broadcasting the news, business news, entertainment report and sports updates, which all demand a different style of presentation. I also was able to record radio spots, which turned me on to voice over work. I now live in Los Angeles and work at an audio post production company and have recorded a few Spanish spots.

Additional Skills

Working in audio post production studio has given me insight on the producers' and audio mixers' role in the recording process. By understanding how they work it allows me to understand what they want out of a voice over and allows us to get the job done efficiently.
