My voice has a subtle quality that demands attention. I think being taller than everyone else helps a little bit, but that does not stop me from using my voice to help out fellow American voice talents, as well as, sharing good times with co-workers while playing Rockband with the quality assurance manager and wife.

My voice can be fun, sometimes scary like the emperor from Star Wars. Of course, there is a Latin accent on everything I say, whereby some use SmartCast but I use and say 'E-SmartCast'.

My voice would be perfect for video games, or latin lover spots for things like Viva Hollywood, and anything Telemundo.

My Voice Experience

Alex Torrenegra began his career in 1994 as the founder of Cyberprise, a full service IT solutions company that offered outsourcing packages to companies requiring anything from network management to custom software applications. He had studied two years of Automation Engineering at the Universidad de La Salle, in Bogota, Colombia, and dropped out to expand Cyberprise when it became successful.

In 1998, Alex moved to the United States to lead the Web Development Team at Rentalo.com, the largest global directory of vacation rental properties. Besides the programming and design of all tools and features on the site, Alex and his team developed a content management system for property owners to maintain the information on their properties, and keep it up-to-date. To this day, this interface is still recognized as the easiest to use in the industry.

While working with Terra-Lycos, Alex was responsible for the project management and technology advisory for all the technology-dependant projects of the Business Development Department and the Marketing Department. He implemented an in-house metrics system capable of processing more than 10 million unique visitors per month, with more than 200 million hits.

He returned to school and studied two years of Management of Information Science at Florida International University. He once again, dropped out of school, and in 2001, Alex founded Torrenegra Internet Solutions, the first company in the current Torrenegra Group. He brought together a highly skilled group of professionals to conceive and develop state-of-the-art technological platforms and extremely efficient business models like Voice123, Language123, and Casting123.

At the end of 2005, Alex became the General Manager of Voice123. Under his leadership, Voice123 has continued to be the largest and most important voice over marketplace, having processed more than 1 million auditions by the end of 2006.

The experience gained over the course of several years working with some of the top online companies, combined with his leadership charisma and imaginative, yet pragmatic vision, have allowed Alex and his team at Torrenegra to succeed and excel in several online markets, providing quality services and innovative technologies.
