Voice Description
Smooth, Mild baritone.
As a television news reporter, I've developed a delivery that is clear and casual, yet stern enough to grab the viewer's attention and hang onto to it. A more relaxed delivery is great for narrations, while intense "sports play-by-play" delivery combines a more exaggerated emotion with a flair for the dramatic.

My Voice Experience
My passion for sports offered an easy marriage between broadcasting and voiceover work.
In addition to working as a sports reporter and anchor for the local newscast in college, I was also the voice for several teams at Sam Houston State University, including football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and even volleyball. I never got enough of play-by-play, and I even volunteered to announce for the local high school football team.
Towards the end of my college career, I was "recruited" by the athletic department to be the public address announcer for their new baseball stadium. Go Bearkats!
My Training
The Mass Communications department at Sam Houston State is one of the finer programs in hand-on training in the field of broadcasting.
Outside of coursework, I wrote, anchored, and helped produce a weekly sports magazine show. The show, "Bearkat Sports Report", would win a national award for Best Sports Program.
After college, I was hired by KZTV Action 10 News in Corpus Christi, TX. For the next year and a half, I worked as a general assignments news reporter. I worked for KZTV for eight months before moving up to the top station in the market, KRIS 6 News.
