Voice Description
My own natural voice is the one (out of MANY) that people most often say is most fascinating. It is rich, riveting, and razor-sharp, with a touch of nasality and warmth that will feel like a long swig of hot tea with a dash of honey. I am eager and willing to put this voice to work for YOU.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Since I was 7 or 8, I have been adept at conscious mimicry- the act of duplicating a voice or sound. The first impression I was requested to make was Shrek, and from there my repertoire has blossomed over the years to about 300 voices, dialects, and vocally-produced SFX.
Most notable are my impressions of Peter Griffin, the Scarecrow, WALL-E, Tony Jay, Fezzik, Red Green, Michael Caine, Ian McKellen, Gilbert Gottfried, the Joker, and Scar.
Select dialects include British Standard, Northern Irish, Russian- Moscow region, French, Australian, and Southern- Atlanta, Georgia region.
The SFX I mostly get requested for are Chewbacca, a fake belch, an EAS machine, and a beating heart.
AND THE LIST GOES ON!!
My Voice Experience
My first professional gig came from a small company in downtown Kalamazoo called The All-Ears Theatre, who broadcasts one-hour plays on 102.1 WMUK. I provided 4 distinct voices in their production of The Three Musketeers, as well as providing the sound of Porthos' belch.
The winter of my freshmen year at Western Michigan University I scored a part-time gig hosting a morning show at the campus radio station- 89.1 WIDR. There, in addition to DJing, I did comedy bits and fake commercial spots with my repertoire of voices.
That following spring, I provided two voices in Flight of the Bumblebee, which I derived from my impressions of Regis Philbin, and Joe Swanson from Family Guy.
The first time I really went all out with a creation of my own character was when I was cast in A Night at an Inn at WMU. I devised a voice for the character of Klesh, and ancient idol come to life, extrapolating as to what a dead god might sound like once come back to life.
Last fall I lent my voice for a few radio spots for productions at WMU- including the ad for Carousel on WMUK. Most recently I conceived and provided the voice for the House in the All-Ears production of Fall of the House of Usher.
My Training
Just finished my B.A. in performance from WMU
While there, I studied Voice and Movement under Micha Espinosa, Fitzmaurice voice and body work, Singing for the Actor, and Dialects under Elizabeth Terrel, and Acting for the Camera under Dr. Von Washington.
I also took a workshop in voice-over work with Rodney Saulsberry- yeah, the "chew it over with Twix" guy.
As mentioned before, I had my brief stint as a morning show host on WIDR, and three paid gigs with the All-Ears Theatre.
Somewhat related are my roles on the WMU mainstage- where I had to utilize my voice prep techniques for big venue performances.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to a mic and recording software, (Audacity) which I used to record my demo reel, and an internet connection.
I believe one of the principal beauties of this business is that it can be done from anywhere- just send me the copy and I'll send you my interpretation, and then we'll work from there.
Additional Skills
My sense of humor is key, and my ability to take direction well I think are good things to note.
