Voice Description
I have a deep and very gruff sounding voice which I have used to do many things over the years.
My voice is extremely Scottish although could not be tied to any particular area of Scotland.
My voice can be very gruff and mean, gruff and sexy or just down right gruff. I have the ability to project my voice in a commanding fashion however it can also have a frienldy tone that is suited to story telling.
With regards to tempo, I can be very upbeat as I have been a drum and bass MC for 10 years. I also have a very down tempo story / narrative telling capacity.
I have also done performance poetry in the past that has always been very rythmic which would be well suited to childrens entertainment.

My Voice Experience
Over the years my voice has been an enigma that I have had the opportunity to use to entertain people.
My most notable experience would be 10 years of playing at one of Scotlands longest running drum and bass nights as an MC. I have played with some of the biggest names in the business such as Roni Size, Goldie, DJ Hype and many more, singing and rhyming for up to 4hrs straight.
As part of my involvement with the club night I have also played on internet radio shows from both bedroom and also on community radio at mefm in Aberdeen, Scotland (http://mefm.web0.co.uk/).
Due to the very unique sound of my voice I have been asked to guest appear with various bands in various types of role. From haunting support vocals to lead duets with a female vocalist giving pure contrast in tone.

My other passion is story telling through short stories and performance poetry. I have a very merry jaunt style to my story telling / poetry. I think this comes from a big love of Spike Milligan.
I like to take people on a journey through use of rhythm and tone and have performed at many open mic nights.

I run a relatively successful blog site at http://www.azcazandco.com where I have dabbled at running my own podcast. It is nothing too serious but is a good example of a more entertainment approach with my voice where I am directy addressing people unseen.

So... that about sums up my experience with playing with my voice. I do have one last amsuing tale to tell about when I was working at a Digital Agency.
The creative director loved my voice, he used to tell me I should voice over as my voice is just crazy. The long and short of it is that he ended up making me record a set of common windows noises for him so that he could hear me even when I wasn't there.
Imagine that lol...
My Training
I have no commercial training however I think I have learned a fair bit though playing with my voice at different things.
