My Voice Experience

Involved for many years with Hospital radio - presented evening programs, for which my voice is well suited, also voiced many links and programme intro's. Would be utilised for "live" work as an anchor voice for example on outside broadcasts and as a link between the OB and the studio.

Made many programme intros and links for an ILR station in the west Country.

Voiced ads or commercials for Local companies to be broadcast on ILR.

Recently completed a commission for a circus - health and safety notices, intro's and outro's and act descriptions Etc.

Self taught, in home studio, Hospital Radio and ILR presentation.

MC many events in and around the west Country.

My Studio Equipment

I have two workstation PC's and a server as the base of the station. The workstations are equipped with soundblaster sound cards. I have a library of software I may call upon including, Kristal equalizer, Audacity sound recorder, Zara radio playout software and a variety of Roxio products, including Studio Sound editor, Clip editor and CD Burning.

I will utilise a small mixing desk and a selection of microphones, dependant on the commission being worked upon.

Additional Skills

In other work I have been in a training role, this is in relation to computer networks. I have voiced for my company training manuals, made presentations to "live" audiences in a gereral and training environment.
