I have a lusty, secure baritone that's well-suited for trusted spokesman and narrations. At the same time, I am known for accent/dialect work: British (upper class, Northern, Cockney), Yiddish (men and women), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Russian, Prairie Canadian, French-Canadian, Spanish/Mexican; USA – Alabama, North Carolina, Missouri, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Texas, Maine, and more, on demand.

I may specialize in trusted spokesmen, but also do old men, crotchety men, macho men, wimpy men, and more. As a narrator or book-reader, I can assume the persona of the author, or simply and quickly serve as the authority figure on the subject.

Finally, as a movie trailer guy, I can attract viewers with a deep "LaFontaine" voice and, alternately, use a friendly dad-next-door character -- more toward my natural voice -- to buddy up to a potential viewer.

My Voice Experience

Since September, I have done a couple of audiobooks and a several TV spots, a narration for a video promoting a newly constructed LEED certified building complex, a video for a school, and a website that has a do-it-yourself magic mirror. For years, I have served as the official spokesman for many regional theaters, including the Alabama Shakespeare Festival (no, not in an Alabama accent!), Pittsburgh Public Theater, Seattle Repertory Theatre, ArtsWest, the Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera, and more. A few years ago, I was very busy with commercial work, landing accounts with Frito-Lay, Baskin-Robbins, and a number of regional and international buyouts and test products (Orangina, Burger Chef, among others). I have appeared in, and narrated an educational video on AIDS prevention, and have provided voicemail services to several clients in New York and in Seattle.

I work quickly and take direction well. I am a 22 year senior nonprofit arts executive as well, and have utilized both my brain and my voice to raise millions of dollars over the years.
