My Voice Experience
With over 30 years of experience as a producer, director, writer and media consultant Alan Hall is a seasoned communications executive as well as talent in International TV and Media. He has produced and directed corporate promotional documentaries and network television programs in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Fluent in Portuguese, French and Spanish he started his career as a freelance cameraman for the BBC, and was recently the founder of Nantucket TV, a leased cable station in Massachusetts, promoting the history, culture, business and tourism of Nantucket Island, while producing weekly entertainment and news programs of local and national interest. The company now functions under the name of Plum TV.
He has written a feature film … presently optioned … on the first non-stop trans-Atlantic flight of Alcock & Brown, while his latest project is a documentary on a Brazilian ghetto school created to help the children of Rio de Janeiro's Baixada do Sapateiro Favela leave the grim cycle of violence and poverty that has become for too many a way of life.
Through his production company NanoVision Media he is working with international production companies, content providers, internet designers and advertisers, in developing webcasts, while providing promotional A/V products for his corporate clients. Presently Alan is an investor on Broadway and involved in co-developing theatrical productions for Brazil.
Alan is a board member of the AOMDA - The American Overseas Memorial Day Association.
