Voice Description
I have the ability to mimic most accents in English if given time to prepare. I speak Russian, Japanese and French as second languages and grew up in the US. My Spanish speaking skills are limited, however, with a script and a couple of days practice I can do a decent reading with appropriate inflection. My voice is probably most suited for the following: professional presentations, valley-girl teenager voiceovers, voicemail systems, the types of voice recordings you would find in a subway or public location, news segments and short commercials.

My Voice Experience
I have been offered voiceover work in the past, but I have only taken a job recently for a friend who needed a voicemail system for the company that employs her. I have limited professional experience, but experience with voiceover work in high school as a television productions student. More recently, I have been asked to narrate or do group presentations when a clear and professional voice was needed.
My Training
My high school background is in television productions with some theater before that in middle school. I first learned how to do voiceovers in these early years. Since then, my studies have taken me into medicine and science. After I attended college I worked at ABC News in Moscow where I answered telephones and assisted with production. I am familiar with the inflections and quality of voice needed for broadcast news. M childhood talent of mimicking any type of voice or accent that I heard has persisted, as a young girl Rod Serling was my favorite person to impersonate!

Additional Skills
I am currently a medical student who is looking to make some additional money to supplement my student income. I have enough exposure to the language of medicine and science to pronounce words correctly and to read any script dealing with health, health care, and science intelligently and professionally.
Although I am not a native speaker of the three second languages I mentioned, with the exception of French, I speak with the standard accent of a native speaker. I am often asked when I speak both Russian and Japanese when I moved to the US and how I came to speak English so well. My French accent is more francophone. If given time to practice, I can do a Parisian accent or one from the south of France. My French accent has also been described as more similar to that of someone from Strasbourg, this makes sense as my first French teacher was educated there.
After having lived in the North East I can also do the Boston, New York, and Providence accents. Southern accents and the Hawaiin pigeon are also familiar.
