Voice Description

I'm a very witty individual. I think that can carry over in my voice sometimes. I do also have a sarcastic side... My voice is deep however, it is easy to listen to and not over bearing, mono-tone or intimidating. It is very pleasant and soothing, or so I am told. I can make it sound up beat and energetic which stems from my sales background to low and smooth i.e. "bedroom voice". I can do a Jamaican or West Indian accent.

My Voice Experience

By trade, I am a loan office in the mortgage industry. I'm use to talking to people ALL day long from all over the country. I have some friends that do extra work and would always joke with me about how I should do commercials or movie announcements and so voice over work; some even suggested adult audio books or radio. I never really considered it and just passed it off as them just playing around and being funny. It wasn't until I started hearing it more and more from other friends and now even family where I decided, What the hell? I'll give it a try. Mind you, I have ZERO experience recording my voice for this type of use. However, since I am so comfortably speaking freely and basically talk to people all day as it is I know how to adapt to whatever the scenario might require. I'm very good at building rapport and credit that to my easy-to-talk to personality which indefinately carries out in my voice, tone and pitch.
