I am constantly, and I do mean constantly talking to myself :) in different accents. I lived in London for a short time and decided that as an American living in London, that I needed to speak like them, because they wouldn't deal with me being an American. I was married to a Bengali man at that time and developed a love of imitating my husbands mother, while she called me all kinds of names, because her son married a non Bengali woman (i will be writing a book about that!)
Before I got married, my "choice" of men was Jamaican and Africans (my family heritage is Trinidadian somewhere along the line), that was fun, voice talent-educational, and I loved every minute of singing the Jamaican music-yeah mon! As well as imitating the deep African accents I encountered on a daily basis. They use all kinds of words Americans never use in every day conversations, "the weatha eesse apleasingly astetic toodayh"
Currently, I am around a lot of Mid Easterner and Asian people, and am picking up their accent, lifestyles and customs, and it is great fun; along with the good food and awesome clothes! Ever notice that Pakastani people never say the letter P....it is always B....
Thank you for reading my brofile, I hope is it has been bleasing to you.
