My voice changes depending on the clients needs. I can do a British accent quite well as my grandma was born and raised in Yorkshire, plus I lived & worked in London for a time. I am interested in voicemail recordings, menu recordings for businesses, voice overs for travel brochures, commercials, animations, documentaries, etc...

My Voice Experience

I currently have no prior experience, but have been told by numerous people that I would be good on radio or that my voice can be very soothing; this prompted me to try this site.

I used to do the 'closing announcement' every night for my local retail store. Customers would come up to me as I'd be ringing their items out and say, "What that you?" "Yes, it was." "Wow, I thought it was a recording! You're great!"

After many people telling me this I figured I'd see if I could find clients willing to give me a shot at voice overs.

My Training

I have had no formal training as of yet, but if I start getting some work I would definitely be interested in furthering my craft.

My Studio Equipment

I use an iMac with Logic Pro 8. I record using a Shure microphone.

Additional Skills

I used to do the closing announcements for my local retail store and everyone used to tell me how good my voice was and how they thought it was a recording because I used a congenial, yet professional tone.
