Voice Description

My voice is smooth and sultry. I have great versatility with my voice. For instance, it can be sensuous and playful, serious and professional, dramatic, or dark and ominous. It has a husky quality to it, but with great range. The range can go from high pitched to a low bass/baritone. I can do children's voices, different characters in books--both human and animal. I am a good narrator. I also give speeches in a variety of venues.

I do not have a studio, but I own a digital voice recorder. I am able to record my voice and upload it to my computer, download it to a disk or send it by email.

Additional Skills

I am a professional educator with many years of experience speaking in front of large audiences. I am skilled at engaging my students in the content of a lesson by painting a mental picture that will engulf them in the setting of the story or situation. I create vignettes that require participation where the students have to portray characters that mimic a given scenario.
