Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I've done British accents as part of amateur projects
in the past. US southern, midwestern accents and
drawls as well as Bostonian-New England accents are also my forte. My Irish brogue isn't bad but needs polish.

My Voice Experience

I have no voice over experience. However; throughout
my life many folks have always remarked how my voice
has a very distinctive quality and always "turns heads"
in very large gatherings and group discussions/lectures.
So hear I am; ready and willing to be that special asset
to anyone who is willing to give me the opportunity
to do so.

My Training

My only exposure to work which would be remotely
related to voiceover work would be my public speaking
course which I took in college and continued with
during my working career in Toastmasters International
where I excelled as a raconteur. Prior to college
I was a telecommunications specialist in the USCG
and worked military voice HF/VHF/UHF radio, radio teletype and continuous wave networks.

My Studio Equipment

I presently have no studio equipment other than
a computer and a standard music library.

Additional Skills

My creative writing skills are good and I would
enjoy writing my own copy as well as copy for
others. I have a well-rounded knowledge about
science, engineering, politics, US and world history,
sports, medicine and the environment. I can follow
the flow of just about any discourse on any subject.
I am considered to be a stimulating interviewer and
I enjoy listening to people talk about themselves
and the subjects in which they are accomplished.
