My Voice Experience

I've been interested in voiceovers since 1999, when I first started to take classes with Cathy Weseluck in Vancouver, but my career was put on hold when I got offered the chance to work in Berlin and Prague for a non-profit NGO.

But it was while I was in Prague that I got back into voiceovers - a friend of mine taught English, and he got me hired doing Informal Conversation Tapes for ESL students. The producer liked me so much that he submitted my voice to Cesky Telecom, the Czech Republic's third-largest mobile phone provider, and they chose me to be the voice of their automated phone system. So a couple of days a week for two years I would make my way down to the studio and record whatever phone system information needed to be recorded.

My voice career was further put on hold once I decided to pursue acting as a career - but now that I've been through a 2 1/2 year acting conservatory, as well as earning my certification as a voice teacher, I've decided to come back to the microphone and start my career up again.
