Voice Description

Soft spoken regular voice. Can be nasally for an annoying kind of voice. Regarding narrations, can be soft, stern, and dark at times, when needed. But over all a normal soft young adult sound.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Generic North American accent, stereotypical Canadian Accent, Southern United States accent, light British, light Irish, Australian accent.

Average Characterizations with most voice accents. Southern US is more so regarding a creaky old man, as well as a typical southern farmer. The light Irish and British can be mixed together at some points, but mostly a light hearted Irishman. Australian, somewhat like the Crocodile hunter, and a relaxed Australian.
Canadian comes pretty natural after all. A good sound of indigenous and generic Canadian accents like that often portrayed in films and television programs.

My Voice Experience

To be completely honest I do not really have that much experience with the exception of some voicing for short puppet plays done a summer for a day camp at my church. So apart for putting on some goofy voices for kids and fooling around with my friends, I do not have that much experience. With that I have had short occasional English class, and church plays where my voice has usually be my normal speaking voice with occasional alterations. As well I have also done some readings at pageants and ceremonies when in high school.

My Training

I graduated from high school in 2008. I am currently in my 2nd year of university at Carleton University with a Major in Honours History and a Minor in Music. I have experience with playing brass instruments, singing in a small barbershop choir at a nation wide music camp the past three summers. I have also sang in a regular choir to perform at my churches annual cantata. In my music classes I have studied music theory, and basic history of music. I have really only learned about voice acting online just reading a little bit on it and trying to impersonate some characters I see and hear on television.

Additional Skills

I have worked with children for a few summers and I found that even the slight alteration in voice style can amuse them; and the same is for my friends and even older adults.
