My Voice Experience

Voices voices all I hear are voices. I own a independent online radio station that plays talk programs all day which has allowed me to branch out into voice overs for promos and program intro's and outro's. This experience has taught me how to vary my voice and accent to get the right reflection in the material.

Currently I also help a local company here in Texas with all of their website, audio and video productions including voice overs when needed.

My Training

I have been a musician since the age of 15 which has given me not only a love for music but a great ear for sound. This has allowed me to learn about reflections in speech and sound to bring great voice work on various projects. Sound is more then something that people hear, in reality for radio and tv sound can make the difference between something great and something terrible.

My Studio Equipment

The equipment that I use is as follows and works for my purposes:

3 Computers used for broadcasting both Audio and Video while live on the Air

AKG Preception 120 Condenser Mic.
10 Channel USB Peavey PV10 Board.
6 Channel USB Peavey PV6 Board for on location broadcasting.

Various music editing software that enables me to record, edit and add video to my projects. This includes effects such as Compression, time stretching, Voice Pitch, duplication, stereo, pan volume and many other audio editing tools that I use to get the right mix of background sound verses speech.

Along with editing and creating various audio formats such as wav, mp3, flac and many more.

Additional Skills

Through the course of my radio programming and live broadcasting, this has allowed me to become a published author. I have written a book called "Launching Your Internet Radio Ministry" which has been published by Thomas Nelson Publishing. This has allowed me to find new tools and other options or ways of working with audio broadcasting.
