My Voice Experience
My twenty plus years of voice experience has been in the radio and production side ... with a wide range of positions from news director, public affairs and sports talk host, public service announcement and commercial voiceovers (many with creative elements such as characters, vocal effects, and sound effects), voice and producer of feature length radio programs.
My Training
My college degree is in Communications (Broadcast Production) from Washington State University (which prepared me for several facets of the industry). Yet my voiceover/radio training has been in the real world ... many years in live and recorded radio and audio production and listening to and emulating voices I heard on air ... practicing delivery and timing.
My Studio Equipment
Currently my home studio consists of a Mackey analog mixing board (Micro Series 1202), a Behringer C-1 studio microphone, and refurbished computer with Windows Seven OS and Adobe Audition 1.5 for audio editing. Recently I have added a Marantz PMD670 digital recorder for back up recording and field recording, and will soon add a JK Audio That-1 to record phone interviews.
