Voice Description

I have a naturally warm and deep voice. I can be very authoritative and am often told “You have a very believable voice” My voice also has some uniqueness to it. Consequently, people know who they are talking to quickly if I’ve spoken to them before. I constantly get the remark “I know that voice”.

I can also be very conversational, and have done many warm and friendly “one person to another” narrations. I announced on a major Los Angeles based FM radio station at one time and can adlib from that experience.

Recently many of my bookings have been that of an older gritty voice for westerns, truckers, and train engineers.

Lastly, I can put a dramatic edge to the read that cuts through background audio which has helped me book trailers and promos.

I am not the least bit “set in my ways” and always welcome direction from clients, and will re-record a script until everyone involved it happy with the final read.

I have over 25 years of background in the audio industry from esoteric equipment to speaker design. Many of my interests revolve around technology so I’m very much at ease with industrial or medical copy.

My Voice Experience

I have been involved in the audio industry for over 25 years. Los Angeles based FM radio station.

I've worked with Voicecaster in Burbank most all of this year (2010). I have booked jobs with Post Factory/ Discovery Channel, multiple narrations for a group in China, an recently did a documentary for a concrete company in Hawaii. I have also recently booked jobs food commercials, book releases, and electronics.

One of the most important services I offer is fast turnaround on "Need it Now" jobs. I recognize that mamy projects find that they need a voice quickly, and I am dedicated to providing that need. You will never get a "Maybe in the next couple of days" response from me.

If given a job I record it to the best of my ability every time. There is no room for an attitude from a voice talent. I take direction openly and seriously, and will not quit until I have a very happy client.
