My Voice Experience
My professional experience is limited, but growing. I recently (summer 2008) did an on camera TV spot & 2 companion radio spots for a regional grocery store chain. Recently I have done 4 radio/web projects for various clients.
My Training
My VO training essentially began with 30 years of informal practice - because it is "what I like to do" - but for the past 10 months - have been training with Marla Kirban VoiceOver in NYC. An excellent teacher/coach. My demo was done in their studio as well. I am a proficient singer & guitar player & was in a rock band for 13 years. The musicality is an important component in VO.

I have access to a full service professional recording studio within minutes of my residence.
Additional Skills
Although I did not think it was a vocational possibility - I have always wanted to do "Voices". From the time I was a kid I practiced imitating numerous voice characterizations.
Not realizing until recently that this could be an avenue of work that I'd actually love - I began to research the potential & landed at Marla Kirban VoiceOver in NYC.
Being a singer/composer/guitar player in a band has also been of benefit.
At this point - I will take on any project. I am hungry to further develop my skills & apply them practically.
