My Voice Experience
Aloha and Bula Vinaka;
I hail from the islands of Fiji and am undergoing undergraduate studies here in Hawaii.
I first fell in love with voice when I was a kid and incorporated that into my acting as well as performing for my young cousins by using puppets as my subjects. It has been years now but I have had the opportunity to be able to perform the narration for Culture nights at the Polynesian Cultural Centre in Hawaii and also during the University song festivals as well as other functions where I had to narrarate a letter about life in the battleground during a song festival.
In High school I won the acting category for the province; this I was able to do by incorporating the talents I had as a budding actor and also the ability to do voice changes to suit the occasion or character - in that competition I had to be an ambassador from the Islands of Vanuatu (formerly the New Hebrides) which of course was brought to life after I was given the privilege and opportunity.
My Training
Currently working Part-time with Communication Fiji Limited - The South Pacifics biggest Communication Organisation as a Radio Personality -was on FM96 but am now on Legend FM also doing voiceover work - commercials, spots and sweepers for Radio station.

Worked with Dr. David Warner whilst MC'ing Polynesian Cultural Centers Night Show in Hawaii - The Worlds Largest Polynesian Revue.
Had the opportunity to work with Professor Craig Ferre (Theatre Professor in BYU- Hawaii) and to undergo voice training under him thru one of his classe - Voice and Diction.
Senior in International Cultural Studies with emphasis in Communication.
Cast as Chief Brown Bear in the Musical Theater Play - Little Miss Merry Sunshine, Winter 2006.
Member of BYUH Concert Choir which created history in June 2006 when we sang in Carnegie Hall, NYC.
