Having worked in voice "under" that is to say, speaking and acting on stage all over New England and New York for over 40 years, I've decided to try my hand at being the disembodied voice which can earn me some money for my efforts. Community and regional theatre is no way to earn a living.
BA in Theatre Arts.
Study with Charles Michael in Voice over in N.Y.C.
Directed and acted in regional and community theatres around New England and New York for 40 years.
Narrated several theatre productions:
Winnie the Pooh
Peter and The Wolf
Also studied singing at the Singers Forum in N.Y.C.
Computer (2 Gig RAM and 1.5 Tetra bytes of storage) based studio using Pro Tools M7 interface. MXL condenser mikes plus Shure dynamic mikes for vocals.
M-Audi midi controller/keyboard for music composition and production.
I feel my acting experience has prepared me for the assumption of a wide range of characterizations. The major way of selling any character is with the voice. Voice over is a very exciting form of acting without the costumes, make-up etc.
