Voice Description

I can make my voice deep and warm for narrative work, or smooth and silky for movie trailers. I have a range from young and sexy for commercials, to offbeat and raspy for cartoon animation, or video game characters. My native tongue is English, but I speak Spanish and German. My English dialects range from the subtle southerner to the quarky north-easterner. Can easily slip into the upper mid-west dialect, or the non-descript west coast accents too. In Spanish, my accents range from Puerto Rican to Cuban to sleepy border town Mexicano from Texas. In German, the dialect is from middle age to older man. Other European accents include Irish, Scottish, Russian, and British.

My Voice Experience

Started out incorporating celebrity impersonations on my phone messages, where I took it to the stage in Austin, TX as a stand up comic. In Fall of 1993, I was approached by Odyssey Video Games, Inc. to record character voices for WIng Commanders I, II, and III. During the mid-90's up to the present, I have been the radio voice for several comedy clubs across the country, including on hold message voices. In 2006, I was asked to audition for Delicious Audio, a morning radio joke service, where I am presently one of the main voice over talents on their roster.

My Training

Began by imitating early morning radio disc jockeys, was in choir long enough to learn to annunciate, sang in several bands as a teenager, began career as a stand up comic, incorporating impressions and character voices into my act. Play guitar, write music, sing original songs, and still touring with my comedy.
