Voice Description
1.) Well, for an example, I do a 5 day a week / 4 hour show called, The 617 JPMH BOB SHOW! What the show is all about is a creation on my official website that was inspired by Tom Joyner and Russ Parr from the African-American syndicated own Radio One. This is an informative radio show set up like the gentlemen I just mentioned, by in my version of the show.
As for my voice, I have practice DJ Drop-Ins that was so successful for my radio show; doing intros and promos for starting and closing jingles. I do professional non-paid volunteering work of my radio; and I never went to school for it. This project started back in 2005.
If you hear a sample of the radio show, 40% of the voices youll hear is me; and the rest is by volunteers who participate in the internet radio show project.
I can do Cookie Monster; Marvin the Martian and more that I can do to help with my radio show that has been launching off thus far; receiving over 1000 emails and phone calls thus far this year.
I mostly do Dunkin Donuts Commercials, Walmart, McDonalds and so for; making my own scripts to add to the commercials that I create for free.
Another way I get my experience from is to practice, even though I do this radio project done so professional for free. Everything is done professionally based and talent, no bucks and who inspired me.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
2.) I can do the Spanish accent just a little; but when I do commercials, I have to go back and audio-edit that accent that I think Id messed up on, and re-do it again. I can also do a Caucasian voice along with a Jamaican accent as well.
I tried to do my voice like the legendary Isaac Hayes, by singing a part of The JPMH BOB SHOW! theme song, along with Yung C rappin on the theme song.
Dont sound like Isaac, but it came out alright. I also do a good voice impression voice of Sammy Davis Jr. at the end of my show doing the closing poem.
My Voice Experience
3.) Knowing how experience I am as a voice actor in a way, a local radio station banned me for being Too Over-Talented. I didnt know if that was negative advise and a positive advise; but I think jealousy play a part of them by rejecting what I had to offer to help out at a community radio station that says one thing and then thinks another.
I one of thousands here in the City Of Boston has been overlooked based on my art, video and voice skills. I tried Craigslist, and it seems that they are not looking for me; (Well, some) but I kept on doing what I had to do to reach out to my listening audience that love the 4 hour internet radio show. So, no, I had no job offers who are looking for ideas from people like me. So I moved right along and continued what I do best; and thats to inform and play music for my listening audience in my local community from my website.
My Training
4.) Everything has been home schooling. The reason why I couldnt get into a school because of no credit, denials of college vouchers. Im one of thousands out there that were unfortunate and never got a chance of an opportunity to get my foot in the door to get my name out there.
No one taught me how to draw art; how to do DJ Drop-Ins; how to do voice over; how to create sounds effects; how to do voice editing; how to put a internet radio station together with no heavy expensive equipment.
No one has ever taught me to do any of that talent but me. Ive be doing videos and photos and began doing internet radio with great expertise without any schools that would offer me a chance to increase my video ad audio experience; which resulted in home schooling which was a success and the radio show is excellent!
My Studio Equipment
5.) Well, since a have some space in my apartment where I can set up my radio show; I have a computer with high speed internet access; printers; a speaker phone connecting my callers; 5 microphones with stands; cable cords for the right connections; a wave pad editor to create my radio show, etc. Not a whole lot of stuff, but enough to give the radio show what its needs to sound already professional. Plus, an official website streaming on demand show 24/7 from today or yesterday.
Additional Skills
6.) My dream goal is to take this internet radio station into syndication based out of Boston; being the first syndicated radio show in Boston to go syndication for other marketing radio stations to pick up. I have volunteers who deliver the news. I myself put todays music of Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggaeton; Classic Soul and R&B to my radio show along with sound byte segments of The Maury Show; Hannity and Colmes from Fox News; ESPN News. I let callers call up and express their minds on whats on their minds for today.
I have experience The Good, The Bad, The Sad & The Ugly when the callers call up before I edit and then clean it up before airing. Some can be funny, and some can be serious.
Ive learn how to do commercials, that when I stumble which I do a lot, I can go back and edit, fix it and replace what I messed up to have a perfect voice commercial. As a matter of fact, Im about to do some commercials (non-paid) for my up coming radio shows, heard around the globe.
I love doing these kinds of projects from the heart and money doesnt come to mind; but hopefully that all can change if giving that opportunity to reach out to more of the listening audience.
