Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

politician or public speaker of any kind, Midwestern soccer mom, lively Mediterranean woman, naive southern twenty-something, news anchor, condescending high school student, American attempting a bad accent, Australian and Indian men (for some reason I cannot yet make these accents sound feminine), valley girl, wise older woman, nasal Chicago accent, uptight or rich woman.

My Voice Experience

I'm currently involved in several Manhattan based radio programs as a producer, and part-time co-host. I can usually be heard as the "Robin" to Mel Robbin's "Howard Stern" on Mel's Monday to Friday morning program.

But from the shabby halls of my high school auditorium to the expensive newsroom studio of my alma matter, and now at Dial Global studios in Time Square; working in voice over has been always preference and passion. Now I turn to site at 123Voice to help make a career out of it.

I have been trained as a Broadcast Journalist, and if nothing else, I've always had the voice.
Having Studied at The Second City, I'm no stranger to character voices or speaking on the fly (a la improv). I have a strong voice, and I love using it.

A major in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. Current Radio Producer at 2 Market Media in Manhattan.

Studied performance and writing at The Second City in Chicago. Honed character voices at table readings and live performances.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Mac Laptop with recording abilities, and have access to an audio engineer with a full at-home studio (recording and editing). I work in and around studios with ISDN lines, and produce live recordings regularly
